Jim Corbett Safari Booking

Book your Jim Corbett jeep safari the easy way. Just share your dates and group size, and our local Ramnagar team arranges everything — permit, jeep, driver and guide — and confirms your slot fast. Permits are limited and go quickly, so the earlier you book, the better your choice of zone and timing.

Open-Top 4x4 Gypsy

Your jeep safari, simply explained

A jeep safari takes you into the forest in an open 4x4 Gypsy with an experienced driver and a registered guide. You enter the park in a fixed slot — morning or evening — and spend around 3 hours tracking wildlife across grasslands, sal forest and river belts. Corbett is one of India's richest tiger habitats. On a single drive you might see Bengal tigers, wild elephants, deer, wild boar, monkeys, crocodiles and a huge variety of birds — the park has over 600 species. Sightings are part of the wild and never guaranteed, but the right zone, timing and a sharp guide make all the difference — and that's exactly what we help you get right. Every visitor needs an official permit, released in limited numbers each day. We arrange your permit and jeep so you skip all the paperwork.

Corbett Valley is a private travel company, not the Forest Department. Safari permits are issued by the Corbett Tiger Reserve; we assist with planning and booking.

What a safari looks like

  1. Reach the gate ~30 minutes early — late arrivals can be refused entry.
  2. ID check — your permit is matched to your photo ID.
  3. Meet your driver and guide — a quick briefing before you head in.
  4. The 3-hour drive — through your booked zone, stopping as the guide tracks movement, alarm calls and pugmarks, then back to the gate.

Choose your safari zone

You book one zone per safari, and each has its own character. Day-visit jeep safari to Dhikala is reserved for guests staying overnight — day visitors see Dhikala only by canter.

Bijrani

Closest to Ramnagar, with open grasslands and strong tiger movement. The best all-round choice, especially for first-timers.

Jhirna

Open all year, on the southern side. Known for sloth bears, elephants and leopards.

Dhela

A year-round buffer zone with tigers, deer and rich birdlife. Quieter than Bijrani.

Garjiya

Scenic and riverine along the Kosi, near Garjiya temple. Lovely for birds.

Durgadevi

Green, hilly zone along the Ramganga — a birdwatcher's favourite, with chances of elephants and tigers.

Phato & Sitabani

Peaceful buffer areas full of forest and birdlife, ideal for a calm safari.

The famous Dhikala zone is not open for day jeep safari — it can only be visited by canter safari or an overnight forest rest house stay.
